Howdy fellow 'Muricans. Join the SEAMGA in celebrating golf and Freedom and the F.U. Open on Saturday June 16th at Jackson Park Golf Course. Nothing says Freedom and Unity like some hack golfers wearing the ol' red, white and blue on summer day fighting for pennies in this land's greatest golf league. In an effort to get a tourney up in the North end, we settled on Jackson and have entered a contract with them for the third time in our history. What many of you might remember, is that the fine folks at Jackson do not celebrate Freedom as we MGAer's do and they ask that each player has to leave $8 at the pro shop, and $8 dollars in the clubhouse. The tourney coordinator has assured me that if you wish, you may spend all of your credits this time at the clubhouse/bar instead. Unfortunately that has brought the cost of our tourney to $60 which includes your green fee, and your $16 worth of credits. If you want a cart, you will have to get that at the course on your own. I have to pay this contract in full by June 1 so you must be registered by May 30th. Also, if you register, then do not make the tourney, you will still owe me $60 to give my wife to pay on the credit card. She does not like paying for someone too hung over to show up to golf.
