Asheville MGA 2011 last Gasp
Congratulations go out to Gabriel Elash, who tamed the Mountain beast "High Vista Golf course" by breaking 100 and taking home his 2nd MGA win and the 2011 AVL Last Gasp Championship. Congrats Gabe!! Gabriel finished the day with a kinda impressive 95.

Gabriel "If you catch that ground hog you win the tournament" Elash- also took home the kinda close, kinda long, and the Gross award
Referred to as the “course from Hell” by one Asheville Medio, High Vista brought new challenges for the Last Gasp Tournament, and more importantly, the reason you should always play a provisional. See rule 3.3. Fall foliage is nice to look at but seriously, the number of lost balls in regulation didn’t help the Asheville medio’s quest to break 100 during tournament play. But complaining aside at least MGA’ers only needs to shoot for a round of 80 as the ultimate goal. Or, screw having a goal all together cause those guys behind are not playing through! they kinda suck too but just haven't admitted it yet.

Doc Bimmer made good use of the f-bomb rule 3.3.1 ….. He’s presented the Meltdown award which is systematically inserted into his pie-hole
The 2011 AVL inaugural season is done and finished and we look forward to seeing everyone plus some new medio's in 2012.
The Last stop on the 2011 MGA tour is the MGA World Championship In Las Vegas. Bring your “D” game ‘cause Asheville will be sending 2 of our most mediocre players to the World Championships 12th November. Without the weight of burdensome penalty strokes Christopher “Doc Bimmer” Joyner and Jason “four Putt” Willoughby should easily not come in Last place.
Thanks for a great season Mediocre Golfers!
