AVL MGA F.U. 2011
We’re not sure what Hall ate the night before, but the excess methane he expelled during the round surely gave him the competitive advantage, with an impressive 88 for the day. Thankfully Hall had 10 penalty strokes, which gave runner-up Doug “Dirty Birdie” Good a chance for the win with a close 10 stroke differential of 98. Good had vowed earlier, if he couldn’t break 100 he was going to get rid of his right handed clubs and start fresh as a lefty.

Jerome "Hallz Ballz" Hall -AVL MGA 2011 F.U. Open champ!
With a field of 114 players, the AVL MGA chapter jumped on the tee box, nipping at the heels of the much larger Black Mountain Member/ Guest tournament that had delayed the 4 Medio’s tee time. The day was great the weather incredible and in true form the Golf was Mediocre. Nothing could parallel Hall’s F.U. performance, except maybe is Christopher “Doc Bimmer” Joyner knew how close he came to being killed by “Four Putts” approach shot on Hole 9. Doc took home the mediocre award and shaved 15 stokes off his game with a 115.

Doc Bimmer- fueled with vinegar and Bunion
Black Mountain Golf club is home to the 5th longest hole in the world a 747yard mar 7 and turned out to be psychological nemesis for Jason “Four Putt” Willoughby. With the mar 7 finally in his rear view mirror “Four Putt” turned up the heat and settled into his game taking home the I’m kinda long and a Merdie on the 18th hole. Unfortunately hole 18 was a little late to be “turning up the heat"
