After Dennis H's last two victories, in the 2nd and 3rd majors of the year, he began some trash talk about a Tiger slam so we already had an inkling that he was a douchebag.    With his round this weekend, he has confirmed it!   Having had to skip the last major, his Tiger slam is history but  now having won the last three tournaments that he has entered, the word dominance is creeping into his post round interviews.     The reality is that Dennis is playing well as he carried in 6 strokes and still blew away the field.  He was looking vulnerable on the back 9 after a Mogey and Double Mogey but then crushed the hopes and dreams of the rest of the field by closing with two Meagles and a Mirdie on the last three holes!!!

'BillDozer' Morley continued his string of mediocre second place finishes.    The highlight was him crushing his 5 wood from twenty yards into a juniper bush with such power that he couldn't even get it through the bush, finding comfortably nestled about 4 feet off the ground.

Ken 'get me to the par 3's' Edelman is also establishing dominance in the closest to the pin competition with his third straight!    He continued his climb up the chapter money list and now has his sights on a top three finish for the year!  Ken also stepped up as the photographer for the tournament.   Go to the Flickr button on the home page to see all his work including the great captions.

As often happens when finely tuned atheletes take their game to the edge, we had an injury.   The MGA champion, Jeff Gerber, came in with high hopes of showing his 81 in the last tournament was no fluke.   Nine holes, 56 strokes, and one blown knee later we welcomed him back to being one of us.  There were still glimmers of hope as he struck a Meagle in among the 9s and 10s.   Hopefully he can develop a suitable doping routine to get him back in shape for the Last Gasp.

There was one other hightlight as the CINMGA broke new ground by being the first to enhance their round by drinking beer from the MGA World Championship beer sponsor, North Coast Breweries.    It was excellent beer mixed in with the mediocre golf
