MGAWC SCHEDULE:
Friday, November 11th - Practice rounds for pre-qualified players (Look in the rules section under the "about" tab to see who qualifies) and the L.O.I.Q. Tournament. The Last Opportunity In Qualification tournament is open to any MGA player who has played in three regular season events but still failed to qualify for the MGAWC. The top ten finishers in the L.O.I.Q. earn a spot in the MGAWC's the next day.
Saturday, November 12th - Mediocre Golf World Championships. Defending champion John James of the SFMGA will likely be relying on his "Past Champion" exemption status to make his way into the field this year. But that doesn't mean he's going to let go of that belt without a fight. Will you be the one to take it from him?!
How to qualify for the World Championship in November
5.1 Finish top 10 on your chapters money list
5.2 Win a regular season event
5.3 Past World Champions and Global Money Champions get five year exempt status
5.4 Finish in the top 10 in the LO-IQ (Last Opportunity In Qualification) (11/11/11) tournament in Vegas the day before the actual MGAWC’s (11/12/11).

right now you can get Tower Rooms at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino for $38 per night on Wednesday 11/9 and Thursday 11/10. Price jumps up to $84 for Saturday and Sunday but that's still just $270 for 4 nights as opposed to the $400 group rate that is referenced for 3 nights on the next page.
I found the rate at http://www.getaroom.com which I've used for Vegas hotels in the past but just about any site comes up with a better deal than the group rate. Happy booking

Since you have yet to come to Vegas, I will assure you that you have never been to a better organized event. Even if you can get rooms cheaper, you can not put a price on the amount of effort Jon puts into organizing this event. All the perks, transport, golf, and experiences you will have will be worth it. As a chapter leader that knows the organization and effort of even putting on single events, I hope Jon is getting some dough off all of us as well.
Give the fucking drummer some!
