'Neath the Red, White and Blue

Dateline: June 2, 2018 at the Brooksville Country Club in Brooksville, Florida

A chapter record 22 medios attended the Spring Hill F.U. Open, with 18 competitors which got us to another milestone of having a full purse to distribute for the first time. The field included 4 from the Pinellas County chapter and 2 from the Tampa chapter.  And it's no wonder with the tournament at the Brooksville Country Club with the popular quarry holes to both amaze and perplex the players.  And better yet, most of the crowd went with the patriotic Freedom and Unity theme in their attire.  A grand old day was had by all.

I myself had the pleasure of playing with our version of THE spaghetti western...the good, the bad and the ugly.

And real kudos goes to Vinny who, despite his score, never lost his cool or thought about quitting. Now that's class that even some of the pros have trouble emulating.
