Pleasanton '19 1/3-ish recap

Slacking Chapter Leader. Rain, wind, and dominance. We piss excellent mediocrity.

In the Rebel Beach Am-Am, we had Flashberger take the first tournament and fial to show up to the next two. Someday he'll finally make it out to the links again. Bowman took the Gross Score but just has too many damn penalty strokes. RB showed his true game and took the biggest meltdown. Hovanic came out of retirement to show just how mediocre he is.  Transplant Bobby Porter came home with the longest drive. Bowman takes the assist for that by getting in RB's head telling him the hole before was the long drive hole. Guess RB should read the imaginary emails Bowman sends telling everyone the contest holes.

Lake Chabot proved to be a tough course for many. Bowman dominated the field to take the gross and net scores. Billy O, Hovanic, and Buff Tahoe. Pricer brings himself back to mediocrity. Larry Morgan takes home his closest to the pin and get the attempt to compete in Vegas for the Scotty Cameron putter again. Bowman also gets the long drive by virtue of being in the fairway (thank you RB).

Then comes Monarch Bay which threatened cancellation due to this random "atmospheric river" that proved not to be a hoax.  The course drained well enough where we actually got to play. Bob Leclair and Larry Morgan were really the only ones to show up for the full 18. Bob took both the gross and net scores. Bowman took the long drive, biggest meltdown, most mediocre, and just straight up sucked. Clark and Vining scored big on the skins this tournament.  Shimabukuro takes down his first closest to the pin.
